Why can't we all just get along? I have said this or thought this many times when it comes to conflict in and around the church. I long for the day when all this "crap" will mean nothing.

Having said this, I agree with Frank's response to your question. There is no question that the Bible lays out a clear path for church discipline and this appears to be a case where it needs to be implemented. While people are en_title_d to there opinions, we as church leaders cannot permit the deviciveness of a few people rot out the whole church.

While it may be difficult to address these issues, it is essential to the overall health of the church and to the individual(s). While we all hate to be corrected, healthy correction can be the best medicine and can result in unbelievable growth in the individual being corrected.

By final recommendation is to pray about the situation - that God would be honored, that you as a leader would have wisdom, that the individual(s) would have open hearts and minds, and that the church would continue to make a difference.

May God bless you as you seek and follow His will.
