Thanks to those who replied to my message. The situation is resolving itself. I met individually with the leaders involved and discussed their actions and corrected some gossip that they had been spreading. One individual did not want to meet with the senior pastor and I feel the personality conflict here may be the root of the problem for this particular individual.

The individual had decided prior to my visit to leave our congregation and join another. I still have some concerns about comments that they will make and how it reflects on the church. I don't think the situation will change at the other church.

I have set up a four week session _base_d on the material "Regroup" with all of the leaders of the small groups within the congregation. The sessions will involve a breakfast on Saturday morning followed by an hour to an hour and a half discussion on topics of the day.

Finally, we will continue to pray.

Thanks again,

Glen
