 Nooma is a small non-profit company that produces short films with a great teaching. Each DVD includes a study guide that you can also download free of charge from their website. These are all creative broadcast quality teachings by Rob Bell that create dynamic discussions even if you disagree with point of view or theology on an particular point.
Many of our small groups (we call them Home Teams at CCV) have utilized these 10-15 minute clips to generate discussion and explore numerous topics. The beauty of the format is that each DVD is independent. They don’t need to be done in any specific order and they are now available at some bookstores.
I especially encourage our brand new groups to start with Nooma’s stuff because there is so little preparation needed. Anyone can pop in a DVD and turn on a TV. Plus the teaching is good, creative, and well delivered.
