I think one good topic for a student small group is 'Kids Dealing with their Parents' Divorce'. Unfortuanately, there are many teens that have to deal with their parents divorcing each other. Many kids obviously don't want their parents getting a divorce or even understand why they are.

Many children of divorced parents believe they are the reason their parents got divorced. They think that if only they had behaved better, gotten better grades, or helped more around the house, the divorce wouldn't have happened. Of course, this isn't true. Divorce is between the parents only!

Kids need to know, most likely, they won't be able to get their parents back together. They also need to realize there is life after divorce and who knows, as bad as things may seem at the present time, they might be surprised at how good the future turns out.
