When starting a student small group, I typically choose the discussion series first. The topic of the series is usually a topic that I see a great need for. An example of this would be a discussion series on hurting teens. We have seen a lot of hurting teens in our youth group and have decided to form a small group because of the need to help our students work through their pain. Thoughts?
